Works

The work that isn't a deliverable.

Alongside client projects, I make the things a design studio puts out into the world: Carousels, Case-Study posts and video for Lollypop's Instagram and LinkedIn.

Comfort-First UI: Designing for VR

PopTopics takes one subject and explains it properly across a swipe. This edition covers designing for VR: field of view and the three comfort zones, why VR is measured in viewing angles rather than pixels, DMM sizing at 1–3 metres, UI fundamentals adapted for headsets, and the Meta Design System.

The constraint is that slide one has to earn slide two. Everything technical lives behind a cover that has to work as a thumbnail in a feed.

Bonify

Guiding Germany's credit-challenged toward financial growth.

A studio case study for a German credit monitoring platform. Structured as brief, discovery, define, approach, so a reader gets the shape of the engagement in four swipes rather than a paragraph of adjectives.

The design problem here is compression: fitting stakeholder workshops, drop-off analysis and a whole design direction into square frames that still leave room for the screens to be seen.

Docquity

Empowering healthcare through seamless learning.

Same four-part structure, completely different register. Docquity is a healthcare learning platform, so the art direction moves to warm paper tones and a serif display face, and the screens carry medical content rather than finance.

Running two case studies on one template and having them feel unrelated is the point. The structure is the studio's. The look belongs to the client.

Usability testing, on camera

Explaining the thing rather than posting about it.

An episode of the studio's Product Playbook series, on why usability testing gets skipped and what it costs when it does. Written and presented by me.

Talking to camera is its own discipline. Nothing hides behind a nice layout, and a concept either survives being said out loud in under a minute or it wasn't clear enough to begin with.
